Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive for 0900 start, hot drinks and introductions by Zoe and Rhian. Mornings introduction and working in hand around the course to get you and your horse confident and happy in new environment. In the afternoon saddle up to practice the obstacles that will help your horse's manouverability and confidence if you are ready to do so. Followed by a short ride out guided by Zoe to get your bearings of the area, returning home to plot the route on the giant map to help you see where we have been. At this point map reading help will be given if needed.
Day 2: In hand work with the horses to introduce them to the new obstacles you are likely to encounter out on a hack e.g. umbrellas, cars etc. Saddle up to ride the obstacles and practice some controlled scenarios. In the afternoon a 3 hour guided ride onto one of the most picturesque bridleways, here you will experience different terrains, hill work, water crossings, gate openings and more. This will be your chance to start practicing some of the skills you have already worked on in the play park without the stress of tiem restraints of a normal ride. The grou pmay be split into two groups depending on confidence. When you return home we will plot the route onto the gian map to ensure you have sufficient map reading skills for the next day.
Day 3: This day is yours to explore! There is a huge riding brochure with a tonne of rides to choose from, al with varying distances, terrains and scenery. Wiith many bridleways, byways, country roads and horse friendly pubs, you can pick a ride from our catalogue (map is provided) that will suit you and your horses needs.
