On the first sunny Spring Saturday of the year, we were enthusiastically welcomed to the TREC GB judges training day by Club Secretary Chis Paine. Chris and her team, Mary and Dani and their horses provided a fun, hands-on training day to give competitors and judges alike, an up to date review of the current judging methods for the three phases of the sport. The organisers arrived early to an empty school, which was soon transformed into an indoor TREC challenge, with a Halloween 🎃 theme! The courses were varied by a number of changes to the obstacles, the variety giving a range of practice opportunities. Mandy’s dinky pony was dressed up fabulously as Mr Pumpkin.
