Red Kite AGM, Awards and Social Evening with a talk by Bridget Stein

Hello members and friends

I am delighted to invite you to our AGM and social evening which will be held as an ‘in person’ event – for the first time in two years! This is a wonderful opportunity to spend the evening with friends and fellow equestrian enthusiasts.

The evening will be held at The Red Lion Inn, Llandyfaelog, Carmarthenshire. SA17 5PR. The village is a short distance off the main road from Carmarthen to Kidwelly.

We will hold the AGM at 19:30 and this will be followed by our award presentations for the Winter (21/22) and Summer 22 Leagues, Milestones awards for cumulative distances and the lovely trophy awarded to the best TREC performance by an Arab or Part Bred Arab Horse. If you have any items you would like to add to the Agenda, please let me know asap. I will send all the papers round, including the minutes of our previous AGM, the Agenda and reports 10 days before the meeting.

And – not to be missed – following this, we have a slide show and talk that will be presented by RKTG member Bridget Stein as she tells us of her adventures this summer riding the length of Wales from the South to the North. It was an epic journey and Bridget even completed a large amount of this riding bareback!!

If you would like to join us for a meal, we will be ordering at 19:00 to allow us to eat before the meeting. We have menu choices as follows:

Ham

Scampi

Curry – meat or vegetarian

Lasagne – meat or vegetarian

Glamorgan sausage (meat free – vegan)

Most meal options are around £12 with extra if you would like pudding.

It would be lovely to see as many members as possible and I would appreciate it if you could let me know if you are hoping to attend.
