At the Red Kite TREC Group Committee meeting this week, we reviewed our activities over the last year and as well as having some great competitions we raised money for charity.
Our Treasurer reported that we made two donations to the Welsh Air Ambulance totalling £500, which included £86 voluntary donations from competitors taking part in at the Cordell Country TREC in August.
From the same competition, we also donated £115 to the DJP foundation which provides awareness, support and training for better mental health within the agricultural community.
Additionally, we also supported the TREC GB International rider teams with a donation of £150 to help with funding their participation in the FITE World Junior and Senior European Championships, which were held in Schlaijk, The Netherlands in September 2024.
